Craftsmanship

The making is the point.

Manolia is a house built on craft. What follows is how each piece comes to exist — from the finest raw material to your living room.

The house

An uncompromising standard.

Manolia exists for one reason: to create interiors worth keeping. Every piece is designed, drawn and made by hand — to a standard that never bends.

Our makers are masters of joinery, upholstery and antique restoration, working by hand where it matters most. Technology serves the craft; it never replaces the eye and the hand.

Materials

Chosen to age beautifully.

Timber

Slow-grown walnut, oak and ash, kiln-dried and rested before a single cut. We work in solids and book-matched veneers.

Textile & curtains

Hand-finished drapery and full-grain leathers chosen for how they hang and wear over decades, not seasons.

Antiques & metal

Restored antique pieces and aged brass, hand-finished in the workshop — detail made to be touched every day.

The process

Four measured stages.

  1. 01

    Consultation

We begin with your space, your habits and the life the piece has to hold. No catalogue — a conversation.

  2. 02

    Design & drawing

Measured drawings and material selection. You approve proportion, textile and finish before a single cut is made.

  3. 03

    The making

Made by hand in our workshop — joinery, upholstery and restoration, with the patience each piece demands.

  4. 04

    Delivery & care

White-glove delivery and placement, with guidance on caring for materials that are meant to age beautifully.
